In our complex and often chaotic world, finding balance and clarity in our actions can be challenging. Many of us struggle with indecision, jumping at opportunities without discernment, or being overwhelmed by too many ideas without a clear path forward.

The Kriya to Experience the Joy of Effective Action offers a powerful way to unblock creativity, balance the mind, and harness the ability to see things through. This meditation focuses on the aspect of the mind that allows us to take advantage of opportunities effectively and execute our plans with confidence.

Benefits of the Gobinday Mukanday Mantra

The Gobinday Mukanday mantra, central to this kriya, brings a multitude of benefits, including:

  • Eliminates past errors – Helps to clear past mistakes and move forward with a clean slate.
  • Unblocks creativity -Frees the mind from creative blocks, allowing ideas to flow more freely.
  • Balances the mind – Brings a sense of equilibrium, helping you to make clear and rational decisions.
  • Encourages compassion – Enhances feelings of empathy and compassion towards oneself and others.
  • Removes karmic blocks – Clears obstacles that may be holding you back due to past actions.
  • Clears the subconscious mind – Helps to release deep-seated fears and anxieties.
  • Creates order and calm – Promotes a feeling of inner peace and order.
  • Banishes fear and anxiety – Reduces feelings of fear and anxiety, allowing for more confident action.

The Practice

This meditation is designed to balance the aspect of the mind that allows you to take opportunities and see things through. When this aspect is too strong, you may act impulsively without considering the downsides. When it is too weak, you may have many ideas but lack the practical sense to execute them. When balanced, you can make plans, organize resources, and achieve desired outcomes effectively.

1. Posture: Sit in a meditative pose with your spine erect. Your arms should be by your sides, elbows bent to 90 degrees, and palms facing each other at the level of the navel.

2. Chant the Mantra: In this translation Har is a word for the Creative, Sustaining and Dissolving power of the Universe. With each chant of the sound “Har,” pulse your hands toward each other and then back out, covering about 6 inches. The movement should be quick, forceful, and precise. Hold your hands still for the other sounds such as ‘Gobinday.’

Har Har Har Gobinday – Sustainer
Har Har Har Mukanday – Liberator
Har Har Har Udaaray – Uplifter
Har Har Har Apaaray – Carrying Through
Har Har Har Harreang – Destroyer of All
Har Har Har Kareeang – Creator of All
Har Har Har Nirnamay – Beyond Category
Har Har Har Akaamay – Beyond Desire

3. Eyes: Keep your eyes 1/10th open or looking down the nose.

Time: Continue for 11-31 minutes.

Please note: If you are new to a daily sadhana commitment, please start with 11 minutes. If you are a longer term practitioner then do 22 or 31 minutes. Practicing for 22 minutes balances the three minds (negative, positive, neutral) while 31 minutes takes you to a deep lasting space.

Significance of the Mantra

The Gobinday Mukanday mantra is a powerful tool for transformation. Each line of the mantra invokes different aspects of the Divine, bringing those qualities into your consciousness and actions. By chanting this mantra, you align yourself with higher energies, facilitating the clearing of obstacles and the unblocking of creativity.

I share this Kriya with many of the advanced students of Radiant Body Yoga. They share how potent the practice is in helping them to strengthen their creative, organizing, and delivering power and actions in life. This thrills me and is the reason I wanted to share it with you and to initiate a new global 90 day sadhana. These group sadhanas are a huge support as they create group consciousness and help you to be accountable to a daily practice.

We can all become more effective and skillful in life! All it takes is a consistent dedicated approach to activating our energy and requiring our brain for success.
