Testimonials
“Kia is at once an approachable and radiant human whose devotion to a higher power shines through her smile and her words. She shares with her students an energetic quality that not only engages them in the physical aspects of yoga but also draws them into the metaphysical. Her devotion to the philosophical underpinnings of this practice are evident in her discussions of the sutras, the subtle body and other topics in philosophy. Kia’s wisdom is abundant in these areas, but she is also a self-professed student who learns alongside her students, always keeping an open mind and considering alternative viewpoints. Her genuine love of teaching and learning as well as her compassion for all human beings make her an extraordinary teacher and one that I am privileged to have had. I am excited for any student who will learn from her!” – Jill Bergman
“Yoga teacher training with Kia Miller was a life changing experience for me, both physically and spiritually. She has taught me correct body alignment, how to instruct safely and helped me find my “voice” as a yoga teacher. Kia Miller teaches Yoga with clear instructions and encouragement, while having an inspiring and beautiful presence. Her classes are sweaty, fun, calming and I leave feeling strong, restored and rejuvenated. I take her classes as often as I can. ” Helene Traasavik
“I just completed a 6 month teacher training program in Westlake Village, California with Kia Miller. This was my first teacher training and it was an amazing experience. Not only does Kia have a deep knowledge base of Yoga, she truly was an inspiring teacher! I feel so fortunate to have experienced this training with her as our mentor and guide on this journey!” Stacey, Simi Valley, California-
“I attended Kia’s teacher training with only one thought, to grow my yoga practice. What I received was so much more. She is an amazing instructor! Her brightness came through in every class. One thing that I absolutely loved, was her way of introducing subtle body techniques, using the internal as well as external body in practice and in teaching. These will stay with me forever. I would highly recommend her TT. – Chris Engel”
